Overview

The RST1500 radar is an advanced and stable phased array radar designed for detecting ground-moving pedestrians and vehicles.

The radar adopts a pulsed Doppler phased array technology system. Through modular and standardized design, it comprehensively utilizes T/R components, adaptive moving target detection, Kalman filtering, and other technical means to achieve the detection of pedestrian and vehicle activity targets in key monitoring areas, providing the monitoring system with real-time, accurate, and continuous target information.

It features good detection performance, strong maneuvering tracking capability, high ground clutter suppression, low power consumption, and low cost. It is a high-performance and reliable small phased array radar.

Main Functions

This series of radars are mainly used for border/important area surveillance, monitoring personnel and vehicles within the monitored area. The main functions are as follows:

It can perform search and positioning functions for walking personnel and moving vehicles;

It has online detection, fault diagnosis, and fault location functions;

It has automatic recording and playback functions for operating status;

It can provide guidance information for the upper-level system and has the ability to work collaboratively;

It has networking capabilities and can achieve collaborative work of multiple radars.

 

Composition

The radar consists of a display control terminal and a radar host, as shown in the figure.

The radar host mainly consists of a microstrip antenna, T/R components, a wave control unit, a frequency source, a receiver, a signal processor, a data processor, a secondary power supply, etc., completing the main functions of the radar.

The radar host can connect to the upper-level system through a network for networking or remote control; it can also be configured with terminal display for independent operation as a self-contained system.

The terminal display is optional equipment and can be implemented by an industrial control computer, a ruggedized computer, or a handheld terminal device according to user needs.

The radar host and the terminal display device are connected via a network cable (gigabit, compatible with 100 megabit).

The radar power supply is mainly +24V DC, compatible with AC power supply, and also supports solar power, wind power, etc.
